Mid Somerset Amateur Radio Club is an established Club that meets once a month to discover more about what amateur radio has to offer in all aspects of the hobby.

We’re a friendly group of about twenty members of all ages, experience and interests.

We’ve just moved to our new meeting venue which offers a larger meeting space, better access and off-road parking.

To find out more about the exciting hobby of amateur radio, why not come along on a club night and meet the members.

Our meetings are on the second Monday of each month at 19.35.

Do call our secretary David G8BFV for further information or just turn up at the next Club meeting. You’ll be made most welcome!

Graham Kimbell G3TCT, Chairman

Our last meeting was on Monday 11th September where Stuart Robinson GW7HPW gave a fascinating talk on the story of the $50SAT, a project that was to become the World's smallest and lowest cost Earth Orbiting communications satellite.

Our next meeting is the AGM on Monday October 9th at 19.45 followed by a TX Factor excerpt. Please make every effort to attend and discuss the future of the Club. Tea, coffee, cakes and buns will be available for a small donation.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the club will not be operating a special event station for JOTA. Please do not go to the Scout Hall on either Friday afternoon 20th or Saturday 21st October
